Labor Lemonade

This hydrating elixir features my Expecting Tea, a mineral rich and uterine toning herbal blend as its base, but can easily be replaced with water if there isn't enough time to brew tea. Birth, being the marathon that it is, requires deep hydration and healthy sugars to keep energy up. This recipe has a very neutral flavor that also curbs nausea, perfect for a laboring mama. Also, never underestimate the power of Rescue Remedy, a homeopathic that may help with anxiety, stress, and trauma.

Ingredients:

12 cups Expecting Tea, steeped

Juice of 4 Lemons

7 drops of Rescue Remedy

1/2 cup of Raw, Unpasteurized Honey

1mL Concentrace Liquid Trace Minerals

Instructions:

To make your  Expecting tea, steep 1/2 cup of Expecting Tea to 12 cups of hot water for at least 1 hour). After steeping, strain into a pot. Add Honey, Rescue Remedy and Concentrace. Bottle into mason jars and serve chilled- or prepare before labor day and freeze into mason jars.
Enjoy, mamas!
